SMS Terms
These terms govern text messages from Delventhal Law Office LLC (Delventhal Law Office).
Program. Delventhal Law Office LLC (Delventhal Law Office) sends text messages to clients and prospective clients about scheduled consultations (confirmations and reminders) and about their legal matter, such as document requests, scheduling, and replies to their questions. Some texts may include links, such as a secure link on our website to upload or sign documents or, after a case concludes, a link to review the firm. We do not send marketing messages.
Consent. You receive texts only after you tell our staff, by phone, that we may text you. Consent is not a condition of hiring the firm or receiving services.
How we ask. Before any text is sent, our staff read this on the call: “Is it OK if Delventhal Law Office texts you at this number about your consultation and your case? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.” We record your answer, with the date and the staff member who recorded it, and text only people who said yes.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies with your consultation and case.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts. You will receive one message confirming that you have opted out. Reply START to resume.
Help. Reply HELP, call (260) 484-6655, or email chad@delventhal-law.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No attorney-client relationship. Texting with us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not text confidential details we have not asked for.
Privacy. See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
